[singlepic id=2987 w=320 h=240 float=left]On 7th November at 2.15pm, the Sue Laker Building was opened by the Laker family in the presence of the Mayor of Greenwich Cllr Jim Gillman.

The building is of MPL (machine profile log) construction and selected by the school, in conjunction with the various advisers, as a building solution which could be implemented rapidly and overcome their difficulties with access to the site.   They needed a sustainable building which could be delivered to a site with narrow access, constructed rapidly and within a tight budget.

The building was partly funded by local developer Fairview Homes and supplied and constructed by Cabinco Ltd.  Landscaping was carried out by Valley Landscaping and foundations and groundworks by QCS Groundworks.

Mrs Sue Roy, a teacher at the school and also on the board of governors said “it made her smile every time she walked in the building”.

Other comments from attendees at the event included “Now thats a proper building!”, “A wonderful addition to the borough of Greenwich” and “outstanding” and most importantly a “fitting tribute to Sue Laker who made a huge impression on the children she taught”.

Thank you Wyborne for selecting Cabinco to supply your new building and we are sure you will be happy in there for many, many years to come.[singlepic id=2988 w=320 h=240 float=right]

Richard Fraser-Williams (Cabinco Director) was present at the opening and delighted to hear such positive feedback from staff, pupils, parents and officials connected to the School
