Sustainable Timber Nursery Building - Case Study

Crickets Montessori Nursery

We supplied and constructed a 300sqm building for use as a private day nursery onto a green field site in London.  The client appointed an architect of her own selection to submit designs to planning etc and we worked with them to ensure that the desired outcome was met by our build system.

This was a sustainable building with green roofing and low energy heating and lighting and constructed using our Machine Profile Log system.

We appointed a project manager (employee) to oversee the works and he liased on a daily basis with the Site Manager and with all parties where required.  Due to the short build period meetings were held on a regular but informal basis with clients/end users and sub-contractors to ensure the project was constantly monitored and kept on target for completion.  By appointing sub-contractors we have worked with in the past we were able to build on confidence held in existing relationships and secure our supply chain for the future.
