Timber Buildings for Schools
Our timber school buildings offer a real, sustainable alternative to other modular and traditional construction options. They are ideal for the education sector as they are “green”, individually designed, with fast construction and available as turnkey solutions.

Cabinco have constructed school buildings throughout the UK for both the private and public sectors. These buildings vary in size from 80sqm after-school clubs to the 600 +m2 Bexwyke Lodge Junior School at Manchester Grammar, but all are individually designed, bespoke, sustainable buildings.
Individual Design
Each building is individually designed with the client to ensure that they have the best possible solution rather than just a “best fit” option from a range of pre-designed units.
Speed of Construction
Our buildings are precision machined in the factory to minimise the on-site construction time. Construction methods do not generally require craneage or heavy machinery, which minimises cost and site disruption. With no need for wet trades the entire process is more manageably controlled and less likely to fall victim to the British weather.
Reduced site disruption
Through our reduced construction periods and modern methods of construction we can minimise site disruption. Options exist to further reduce this through use of screw-pile foundations (where appropriate) which can be installed in just a few days and require only a mini-digger to power screw the piles into the ground.
Sustainability
The buildings have a strong eco-focus and are constructed from material which is largely natural, renewable and recyclable . We have looked at the sustainability from all aspects, starting at manufacture, then construction and during and after the building’s useful life.
