This demand has grown with awareness of the problems caused by excessive exposure to the sun. After careful market research, we believe that this range of outdoor classrooms and shelters offers the best value on the market and would encourage you to compare our combination of high specification and competitive pricing.

All our outdoor teaching facilities are built to combine practicality with simple design and ensure a long lifespan. All upright columns, whether 115mm or 180mm, are laminated for increased strength and to reduce the chances of splitting as the timber ages which also increases the shelter life span.

Outdoor shelters are precision machined offsite with all timbers planed and pencil rounded to avoid splintering. This allows for a quick installation on site of approx 1 -2 days reducing inconvenience and keeping costs down enabling us to offer these at very competitive levels. All timbers are pressure impregnated to prevent rot and come with a 10 year guarantee. To further enhance the lifespan we now incorporate a “dpm”* pad under each upright.

* Most failures occur in posts at ground level where the timber is permanently in contact with moisture, creating ideal conditions for fungal decay. Whilst pressure impregnation will prevent this to an extent, this can be supplemented by design. This simple change of inserting the damp proof membrane reduces the moisture in the timber by restricting the ground water ingress.

Standard designs include the popular 5m Octagonal, 4m Square, 4m x 8m Tudor Shelter and the 3m Hexagonal which is ideal for pre-school facilities. All our outdoor classrooms are available with a variety of optional extras and priced from £4,270 + vat.

We do recognize that each school will vary in its requirements and are more than happy to offer bespoke shelters at prices you would expect to pay ex-stock. We have also supplied a number of pergolas/walkways to schools across the UK to suit their individual requirements.
